Live Oak Public Libraries is pleased to announce the winners of the 2014 Savannah Children’s Book Festival Poster Contest. The contest is held each spring and students are challenged to create a poster that may be used in the promotion of the annual Savannah Children’s Book Festival. This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, November 15, in Forsyth Park.

Students were challenged to create a poster that featured reading, books, stories, the library, or reading in a park. Entries were submitted in the elementary, middle, high school and college categories. Public, private and home school students from Chatham, Effingham, Liberty and neighboring counties submitted their designs.

The winners are invited to a reception in their honor at the Bull St. Library, 2002 Bull St. in Savannah at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7. Prizes will be awarded at that time.
