Patrick Jones
Patrick Jones, a former librarian for teenagers, now writes fiction for teens including: “Stolen Car,” “Chasing Taillights,” “Cheated” and “Nailed.”
His first young-adult novel, “Things Change,” was named by the Young Adult Library Services Association as a Best Book for Reluctant Readers.
Jones is a frequent speaker at library conferences, having visited all fifty states, as well as Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. His most recent professional publication is “Connecting with Reluctant Readers.”
In 2006, Jones won lifetime achievement awards from both the Catholic Library Association and the American Library Association and he won the Scholastic Library Publishing Award.
Jones grew up in Flint, Michigan, but now lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
