Live Oak Public Libraries is pleased to announce the winners of the 2013 Savannah Children’s Book Festival Poster Contest. The contest is held each spring and students are challenged to create a poster that may be used in the promotion of the annual Savannah Children’s Book Festival.

This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, November 16th, in Forsyth Park.
This year’s theme was “Dig into Reading” and more than 250 designs were submitted in the elementary, middle, high school and college categories. Public, private and home school students from Chatham, Effingham, Liberty and neighboring counties submitted their designs. All entries will be exhibited during the month of November at the City of Savannah Dept. of Cultural Affairs S.P.A.C.E. Gallery at 9 West Henry Street. Winners will be honored at a reception at the Bull Street Library on Wednesday, May 8, 5 p.m.
Congratulations to the winners on some amazing entries and a big thank you to everyone who participated in the competition. We also appreciate the families and teachers who supported and guided all of the talented students who entered.
