Book Groups
Islands Book Group: meets the first Monday of each month at 7pm at the Islands Branch. Participants read selected titles based on chosen themes. Call 897-6233 for more information.
Page Turners: Ogeechee Branch group meets once a month on a Saturday at 1pm at the Carnegie Branch. Group discusses specific book of interest to the group. The books are selected 6 months in advance based on interests of group members. Books selected are usually by and about African Americans. Call 232-1339 for more information.
Tea Time at Ola's: meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 1 pm at the Ola Wyeth Branch. The members discuss what they have been reading since the last monthly meeting and these choices may encourage others to read them as well. Cups of tea are always served and usually scones accompany the tea. At times there are other edibles provided by the members.
Tea & Tales: meets every three weeks on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. at the Midway-Riceboro Branch. Participants read selected titles chosen in advance. Call 884-5742 for more information.
