Friends of Live Oak Public Libraries are people in the community just like you who are willing to work together to support their local branch library as well as Live Oak Public Libraries.

What do the Friends Do?

Create partnerships between communities and the library

Participate in fundraising projects such as book sales and author visits

Create a greater awareness of Live Oak Public Libraries and its mission

Develop interest and support of elected officials

Develop interest, participation and special relationships with organizations and individuals to obtain support for the library

Develop library interest, support and participation from people throughout the city and state

Membership benefits as a Friend of the Library

Advance notice on book sales

A quarterly newspaper

An invitation to the group's annual social

A Friends of the Library membership keepsake

A chance to impact the lives of thousand of children and adults in your community with the support of an involvement in library programs

Live Oak Public Libraries are looking for some new friends in the communities surrounding its branches.

To join, fill out a membership form and bring it to any Live Oak Public Libraries branch or just stop in.
Membership rates are:

$10 - individuals

$15 - families
