The Friends of the Library are people in the community just like you who work together to:
- create partnerships between the library and the community;
- participate in fundraising projects such as book sales;
- create a greater awareness of the library and its mission;
- develop interest, participation and special relationships with
individuals and organizations to obtain support for the library;
- develop library interest, participation and support from people
throughout the city and state;
- develop interest and support of elected officials.
The Friends of the Library also have a great time meeting new people and sharing their love of books!

Live Oak Public Libraries are looking for some new friends in the communities surrounding its branches.

To join, fill out a membership form and bring it to any Live Oak Public Libraries branch or just stop in. Membership rates are:

Individual $10
Family $15
Supporting Level $50
Sustaining Level $75
Patron Level $100
