Live Oak Public Libraries Foundation raises funds to supplement programs envisioned and provided by Live Oak Public Libraries for lifelong learning. We actively promote childhood literacy; enhance the contributions of our library system as it grows and meets the needs of individuals and our community; and raise community awareness and support for a progressive and high quality library system. We facilitate the mission of Live Oak Public Libraries through ongoing fundraising and planned giving.

Ways to Give

Donate Online

Add a leaf to Our New Midway Branch!
Adopt a Book for our collections.

The Annual Fund
Gifts to the Annual Fund support programs such as the Savannah Children’s Book Festival, the library’s annual Vacation Reading Program and additional programming for all ages throughout the year. Funding for the Business Resource collection and the library’s marketing budget are foundation initiatives as well.

Library Legacy Fund
Gifts to the Library Legacy Fund build an endowment fund primarily for the purpose of increasing the collections of the Live Oak Public Libraries and to support fully the general educational purposes of the Library. Public funding for the library is very unpredictable. Endowment income will enable the library staff to maintain the integrity of the collection in negative funding cycles and eventually make possible an expansion of the breadth of offerings available to library users. It is not intended to supplant public funding.
