Storybook Look: Illustrations by Southern Artist

Now showing in the Bull Street Children's Department: Storybook Look: Illustrations by Southern Artists features original artwork from 10 of the South’s most notable children’s book illustrators. The exhibit, part of the Savannah Children's Book Festival, includes 28 paintings, photographs and cut-paper/mixed media artworks. It also includes text panels and travels with copies of the books whose work is featured in Storybook Look. All featured artists in Storybook Look are traditionally published members of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, the world's largest organization for children's book creators.

Some of the artist featured include Elizabeth O. Dulemba, Liz Conrad, Mark Braught, Daniel Powers & Rick Spears.

The Southern Arts Federation’ Southern Visions: The Southern Arts & Culture Traveling Exhibits Program is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
