Through dazzling color graphics of paintings, photographs, and iconic objects from the Mount Vernon collections, this exhibition presents the many different facets of Washington's leadership as a general, statesman, farmer, and a visionary entrepreneur.

Special Lecture & Discussion: "George Washington as Military Commander"
Tuesday, July 2, 6:30 p.m.

Dr. Jay Menzoff, historian, educator and U.S. Army Veteran, will discuss George Washington's effective yet often unappreciated military leadership.

This exhibit is a national traveling panel exhibition produced by the Mount Vernon's Ladies' Association in conjunction with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, and is supported by a generous grant from the F. M. Kirby Foundation.
