“Love My Card” Balloon Party
September is Library Card Signup Month and we’re celebrating with a special balloon party presented by Savannah Balloons! A library card isn’t required to attend the program (but if you don’t already have one, it’s a perfect time to “get carded!”). Ages 3 and up.
Children’s librarians present stories, songs, music and a variety of activities.

Toes to Nose: Family Yoga
Family Yoga is a fun way for your child to learn how to move creatively and interact with others. This class combines yoga postures with games, props and storytelling. Everyone participates! Children see the adults doing the poses, and then learn how to do it themselves easily. Children must be accompanied by their parent or caregiver.
Think you're a master LEGO® builder? Join our LEGO® Club to hone your skills. Our monthly meetings will include a themed LEGO® build where you can create your own masterpieces! You may even find you work on display in the library. Ages 5 and up.
The Campaign for Healthy Kids and Families
Every 2nd Tuesday each month, Application assistance for public health insurance programs, Georgia Medicaid, PeachCare and Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP.) Eligibility for public benefit programs is based on income and family size. Please bring income verification and government-issued ID.

Live Oak Public Libraries celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Carnegie Library. Read about the history of this community icon and celebrate its bright future. The Carnegie Library opened on East Henry Street in August 1914 to serve Savannah’s black community.
