Carnegie Centennial Kicks Off in August
Live Oak Public Libraries is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Carnegie Library with a full week of activities to remember the history of this community icon and celebrate its bright future. The Carnegie Library opened on East Henry Street in August 1914 to serve Savannah’s black community.
