Live Oak Public Libraries Summer Reading Program
June 1 to Aug. 16
For ages 0 to 18

Download your "Fizz Boom Read!” Reading Log or pick one up from any Live Oak Public Libraries branch. To qualify for all the great prizes, you’ll need to register online on the Discovery Lab. Once registered you will be able to share reviews of your favorite books, see what others are reading for the summer, make a wish list, and keep track of what you’ve read.

Read anything - library books, comics, graphic novels, newspapers, and e-books. You can also participate by listening to stories read aloud, listening to audiobooks, and attending library storytime. Read or be read to for a total of 10 hours. Complete and record your 10 hours from June 1 - Aug. 16.

Keep Track of the hours you've read by marking through the books on your "Fizz Boom Read!” Reading Log.

Keep track of the book titles you've read online in the “Discovery Lab” web page - you'll need these to get your free book from Barnes & Noble.

Completed 10 hours? Starting June 10, you can take your Reading Log to any library branch to pick up your Level 1 coupon sheet, an entry form to the grand prize drawing, a coupon good for a free book at Barnes & Noble, and a Level 2 Reading Log so you can continue reading. You’ll also need to log in to our “Discovery Lab” web page, either at home or at the library, to record your progress.

When you complete an additional 10 hours (20 hours total), you'll get another grand prize drawing entry form, your Level 2 coupon sheet, and a Level 3 Reading Log so you can continue reading. Again, make sure you log in to report your progress.

When you complete another 10 hours (30 hours total), you'll get another grand prize drawing entry form, your Level 3 coupon sheet, and a Level 4 Reading Log so you can continue reading. Again, make sure you log in to report your progress.

When you complete another 10 hours (40 hours total), you'll get two grand prize entry forms and special recognition as a Summer Reading Program VIP in the Savannah Morning News and the Savannah Children’s Book Festival Nov. 15th in Forsyth Park. Once more, log in to report your progress.
