Tax Assistance
Tax Assistance @ Bull Street and Southwest Chatham Branches.
Volunteers from the AARP Foundation, in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service, are assisting citizens with their State and Federal tax returns at both branches..
The AARP Foundation volunteers will be available at the Bull Street Branch Library 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. starting Feb. 2 through April 15.
The AARP Foundation volunteers will be available at the Southwest Chatham Branch Library 4 days a week (Tuesday through Friday) from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. starting Feb. 2 through April 15.
The service is provided free to everyone on a first come, first served basis.
AARP Foundation volunteers cannot assist with “Schedule C” returns. They can, however, assist with “Schedule C – EZ” returns.
Please bring all documentation and forms with you needed to complete your return.
Registration is required in person for each day. The service is located on the second floor near the copier alcove at Bull Street Library and on the second floor study rooms at Southwest Chatham branch.
